The Auckland Conservation Board's Annual Report presents a snapshot of the Board's work to advocate for Auckland's nature.

Auckland’s nature is under threat from climate change, development, pollution and predators.

The Board has made several submissions this year, including; on the proposed Sea Change Implementation for the Hauraki Gulf; on the Marine Mammal Sanctuary proposals to protect Hector’s and Māui dolphins; and, to Auckland Council on two RMA resource consent applications, on the proposed new regional landfill at Wayby Valley, Rodney, and on the consent application from Kaipara Limited for offshore sand-mining at Pakiri Beach.  All of these submissions and more can be viewed on the Board’s webpage.
